The most important step you can take in teaching your child to read is to read to your child daily.

Scholastic Reading Club’s December 2019 order forms have been placed in your mailboxes. (If you need another copy, please see the Office.)

For those who are unfamiliar with the Scholastic Reading Club, each month Scholastic provides a selection of book titles from which you can order from. To do so, simply fill out the form and submit with payment (check made out to: “Scholastic Book Club” or gift certificate only – no cash) to the Office or order online at scholastic.com/readingclub using the code LZN7X. Oyster Babies earns points for each book purchased by parents. The Center then uses the points towards the purchase of additional books for the classroom. Books ordered online will be delivered to the Center along with print orders.
