Friday, August 1st
– Watermelon Day
Everyone
should come to school with an appetite for watermelon as we celebrate summer’s
favorite fruit.
Monday, August 4th
– Last Day to Bring in a White T-shirt
With Tye Dye
Day this week, it’s important that each parent send in a white t-shirt (labeled
w/ child’s name) by this date.
Tuesday, August 5th
– Water Day
Be prepared
with sunscreen, bathing suit, hat, and towel, plus a change of clothes.
(Preschoolers and other potty-trained students should wear their bathing
suits underneath their clothes at drop-off.)
Wednesday, August 6th
– Music with Matt
Thursday, August 7th
– Tye-Dye Day
Kids will
tye-dye their t-shirts, which will be worn later in the month for our Field
Day’s Playground events. Those who
are not in attendance will get a chance to dye their shirts the following day.
Friday, August 8th
– Preschool Yoga
Bring towel.
Yoga will be held in the park or beach, weather permitting.
All other classes will have extended water play.
Monday, August 11th
– Preschool Workshop: Puppets & More w/ Marla
What’s a
puppet workshop? Take some puppets, mix them in with a read-a-long and top it
all off with a fun craft project.
Tuesday, August 12th
– Unbirthday Day
Nothing
special is required for this special event, just your child’s presence as we
celebrate everyone’s “un”birthday today.

Please be prepared with sunscreen and a hat.

Thursday, August 28th
& Friday, August 29th – CENTER CLOSED
The Center
will be closed for Staff training these days.
We’re also closed on Monday, September 1st for Labor Day.
